If a child is absent from school for any reason, parents are required to send a written note into school, or telephone the school to explain the absence. They must contact the school on the first day of absence. The school telephone is manned from 7.30 daily.
If parents wish to take their child out of school during term time, for a holiday or other reason, they must submit a request for leave of absence before the event, preferably at least a week in advance. Forms for this purpose are available from the office.
