ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Port Harcourt International Campus is open to children of Nigerian and expatriate families. Our teaching is based on ‘international-mindedness’ so in keeping with this philosophy, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or nationality.

New Pupils
It is extremely important that parents provide us with as much information from their child’s previous school (if applicable) as possible. It is therefore helpful if parents arrange to bring all their child’s records, documents, samples of work, and current workbooks with them.

The Head Teacher will look at the reports. If the reports are satisfactory, the child will be admitted with no assessment. If they are not satisfactory, the educational skills of the child will be assessed by a class teacher.

The assessment tests include reading, mathematics and writing skills. Parents are informed of the results of the assessment tests and of any special programme of work that might need to be implemented to help the child adjust to their particular Year Group.

Approximately four weeks after a child has joined our school, we will invite the parents to attend a meeting, so that information and questions may be exchanged.
